anyone running an electric fan? i just received my flex-a-lite yesterday. looks fairly simple to install. says it takes an average of 4 hrs. to install; looks like it will benefit my set up. did not know if anyone has installed one or has one on their truck already. one more step closer to installing my uprgraded cp3

(stage 1 bag of parts) and injectors. Thanks TDR'rs.

well, kinda thought so...

i sorta knew that not many people were using these fans, but using them in the past i thought it would be a good way of taking extra weight and tension of engine. i will post results!

I did it once on a Toyota 4 banger and would not do it again based on my experience. But live in So. Cal and summers are pretty hot.

How's it working for you.

I have one in mine - put an 04. 5 Cummins in a 1993 Suburban, 2nd Gen radiator, the dual-fan s-blade flex-a-lite for the GMC (284?) works nice, even going over passes with a 25' trailer it didn't pass the center on the temp gauge. It bought me a little room... the stock fans were bumping my radiator.
