Flex Plate

Has anyone had a Flex Plate brake ? The center tore out of mine about 2inches above the bolt holes at 51207 miles. There were no stress cracks going to the bolt holes. I pull a 38ft camper total combined wt 15860. Is this a common problem with automatics?

I'm on my third 182,000 miles, but mine have always had cracks coming from the triangle corners when i pulled them of and looked aty them, i've been hoping for one of the torque conv. guys to come up with something stronger, my old Ford 6. 9 had a 3/4" thick flywheel in front of the auto itlooked like a manual flywheel, this thing we've got is sad, i think i saw budwieser wrote on the back of mine, they must be recycling... ...
