Has anybody broke a flexplate in a 05? I did.

Welcome aboard JonKing! I think someone else did too but I can't remember for sure. What happened? What conditions were you in when it broke i. e. towing, racing, sled pulling etc?

Several people... one of the reasons I turned my stock flex plate into a nice ornamental clock

I was running the TST/CRAZY LARRY stack with a Sun Coast T/C. I had to try the stack out and when it shifted into overdrive it sounded like a bomb went off!

I have spun the center out of mine. I think it was cumulitave damage though. Because I was just cruising along around 55 or so when it did break. It sounded like I threw a rod or lost a valve.

I broke 2 in the first 3000 miles I owned it.
