2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission flickering head/dashlights

have a 96 dodge 2500 2x4 (purchased new) that began a flickering headlight/dashlight problem about one year ago, have changed the headlight switch and multifunction (turn signal) switch with no change in symptoms. the lights do not go out and it's not the grid heater. does this sound familiar and if so, does anyone have the cure?????????
