flip out shop door

I am helping my dad turn a free stall cattle shed in to a shop and we have a height issue and want to make a door that is all one peise and hinges out from the top of the door. I was wondering if anybody has one of these of has seen one and could get some pics of the hinge and cylinders that push out the door

Do some research online and take a look at what people have done with aircraft hangars...



One company that comes to mind is One-piece Hydraulic Doors & Walls by HydroSwing - they're not cheap, but what they offer may give you a few ideas.

I was thinking of them also. Nice part is they use a pump operated off A/C, and you can have couplers to hook up to a tractor should you loose power and need to move the door.
