Why would the floor under the carpet on the passenger side be wet? I had the dealer install cab light's 3 year's ago, can water come in that way or could it be some thing else! Kind of smelled musty which is not good!

Most likely the AC drain is clogged. Under the hood right side under the ac dryer there is a short black tude about 1 1/2 " long. I used a wet vac and sucked the clog out. Then put a two or three inch hose on the tube. So water can not run back on the tube and leak inside.

Thats a common problem. Look at your fire wall where your AC tube sticks through. If it doesnt have a hose stuck on it thats the problem. What happens is the condensated water comes out, it turns back on the tube and runs inside the cab.

Keep in mind that most likely the water will end up on the passenger side carpet near the door sill no matter where it is coming from. It could be the rear window, the seal around the door, the cab light, AC drain, windshield, heater core, etc. If the radiator water level goes down in time I might expect the heater core. I pulled the seats and all of the carpet. I then had a friend move a garden hose all over the cab while I watched from inside. I found the rear window was leaking, the seal around the passenger door was leaking, and the windshield was leaking due to a faulty install of a replacement about a year ago. The carpet has insulation attached to the underside of it. When I pulled the carpet I was surprised how much water it was holding in it. I bet it had a gallon absorbed in it. It took two days in the warm sun to finally dry.

Commonly is the aforementioned a/c problems. At the time I was going through this, the dealer told me that the 3rd brakelight is known to leak and the water runs down the pillars and into the floor area. This wasn't my case, but he said that I had a leak in a body seal somewhere else, although he didn't specify where. The body shop used a technique that involved pressurizing the cabin with a vanilla smelling smokey vaopor and watching where it came out. This is how they found which seal was leaking.

Rear window seal and windshield seal was the problem on my 96'. I removed the carpet and thoroughly steam cleaned. Let it dry in the garage for a few days while suspended. Then would be a great time to add sound deadener.

Mine was also the third brake light. The seal still looked good, so I just went around it with some clear silicone.
