Who's first in Florida

OK, someone has to open this up. I see many CTD's driving around Central and West Florida. Some dressed and some not.

Speak up drivers.

Hopefully mine is hard to miss. :D Not really the short wood sides are quite noticable. (Run I-4 2 to 3 times a week).

The Mule doesn't make that many produce runs since the Freightliner took over as many produce hauler but it can be seen running back and forth from Winter Park and Oviedo. (also quick runs to the market via I-4).

I see all kinds 89 to 2002 (soon 2003) models on the highways, byways, produce markets and my business.

01 or 02 Dark blue 3500 4x4.....

... headed south on I-95 between Yamato and Glades last Thursday around 1730-1800. Super clean, wheelwell trim, toolbox.

Makes me wish I could take my truck along when I travel... . anything's better than the compact rent car.

Red and silver...

... was at Clevelands body shop in Ft. Pierce a few months ago. My brother in law(Ron Cleveland) said he thought he said he was from Indiana, but posting here also. The guy said he knew me from this site... Doug

Was in West Palm Beach on I-95 in late afternoon on Friday the 13th, and saw a south-bound 2500 4x4 in white with big tires on it and a lift kit... . but MAN!!! was that truck long!!!:D 4 doors + the club cab !!! Looked sweet!

We can do better!

Hey, Fla. folks must be more that just a few CTD out on the road than I'm reading here. lets see some post about Fla rigs.

Pogodually - I see a lot of CTD trucks around the panhandle and lower Alabama . What does yours look like and where are Ya' at?

I have not seen any TDR stickers yet, but I know that there are some around .

I am in Pensacola and travel I-10 and 9 Mile Rd/ Pineforest/Blue Angel Hwy. all the time. My truck is a Patriot Blue regular cab 2500 4X4 w/ a TDR sticker on the back window pass. side .

I have a few fellow CTD owners that I am trying to get on the TDR but they have not done so yet, maybe we could all get together at a Cracker Barrell or something one day ? Thomas

Parrish, Fl (South-East of Tampa) Lots of CTD here but most of the people don't even have computers much less get on TDR.

Most of my friends drive fords anyway! My last truck was a Ford - but don't tell anyone! ;)

My neighbor used to post here as Busyman but he moved and haven't seen him in awhile.

Have not seen one TDR sticker on a truck yet anywhere in my travels of the state. Then again I don't have a sticker on my truck either as I don't wan't stickers all over my truck.

See Ya

99 2500 4x4 QC LB (Green) 315-75-16 Mud Rover

Groover - Every time that I go to central or south Florida all I see is F-350 Diesel 4X4 trucks. They are every where down there ! I guess they all pull horse's in the middle of the state. It must be illeagal to buy GM or Dodge products down there. Thomas

tarussell - F350 diesels are very prolific here. The recipe for those moving here seems to be ...

Buy 5 acres of overpriced land...

Buy a miniature 4wheel drive loader tractor...

Build a HUGE horse barn with all the goodies...

Buy a half dozen or more overpriced horses ...

Then build a 5,000 square foot mansion style home (for two)...

Sell the minivan and the camaro...

Buy a SUV and a f250-350 powerstroke...

Go to the western store and load up on boots/jeans/hats...

Buy a slant load horse trailer with tack/living quarters...

After two years of not riding the horses or using the horse trailer. The once grass-covered pasture is turned into a sandlot from overgrazing. Playing horse ranch is not fun anymore so they sell out - move to the beach - buy another camaro and a jet ski.

It's not illegal to buy other than Ford trucks it's just not trendy.

Doesn't count Devildog!

Your supposed to be looking for other ctds not looking at buildings(with glass ) to see how:cool: your's looks. ;) :D

Seen quite a few 3500s some 2500s running I-4 the last couple of months in Orlando area.

I was running the Mule so I didn't see any TDR sticker or emblems but did notice if they had in-state/out-of- state tags.

Was in Tampa for work for the last five days. Saw a first gen dually club cab, white with silver. Nice looking rig, could tell it was a manual. I was right next to it on Rt. 60 in Brandon. 'Bout made me cry from missing my truck. :{ I was driving a rent-a-skate Mitsubishi Galant.

Drove from Pensacola to Avon Park and back last weekend, saw a bunch of CTD Rams on the road. Starting to see more and more 03's. Jim

If your in the panhandle around Crestview/Fort Walton Beach area you should see my Red and White Toy. Haven't gotten my decals yet but it is hard to miss all the shiny chrome and dark tint. By the way I run a wrecker service so if anyone needs help in this area maybe I can lend a hand. Also have a good supply of tools if you should do the unthinkable and break down in this area.

Oo.
