fluid and filter on 48re

I havent been able to find how many quarts of trans. fluid is needed when dropping the pan and changing the filter on a stock 48re it is time to change filter and wanting to get all materials together before hand.

6-7 quarts is about what it takes. I buy ATF in the gallon, so that's a decent guesstimate for yah.

I have changed mine twice, took 7 qts each time. I get the Valvoline ATF+4 at Kragen for $3. 49 qt.
