fluid from vacuum pump??

... so I have what appears to be fluid seeping from the vacuum pump - looks like it could be power steering fluid. Could power steering fluid be seeping into the vac pump???



It is weeping out the lower middle section of the vac pump, where the front and back halves of the vac pump are bolted together, just in front of the mating flange to the pwr steering pump.



Is there fluid within the vacuum pump normally for lubrication and maybe it's losing a seal?



Thoughts??

Usually the sign of a leaking vacuum pump, it's usually motor oil leaking, but anything is possible. Geno's sells a repair kit for the vacuum pump; or you can find it here also:
