Has anyone installed the drill pin kit for the Fluidamprs recommended when turning 3500+ rpm?

Fluidampr Cummins 3500+ RPM Drill Pin Kit 300002

I'll be installing a Helix 2 cam, springs, injectors, etc in a couple weeks, and figured this would be the right time to pin the balancer while the front end stuff is out of the way.

Anyone done this already that could give some tips?

They recommend new TTY bolts (torque to yield)... are they included with the kit? Or where did you purchase?

Hmmm, well, guess I may be one of the first on this site to do this.

I ordered the bolts from the local Cummins dealer a few minutes ago, and will pickup in the morning.

Anyone?

I did this to my 94.

Should be pretty much the same for your truck.

No new bolts come with the kit.

To drill my holes with the jig I used an air powered ratchet with an adapter to hold the drill bit.

I have a 90* drill, but not enough room to fit it in there.

I had a helper use a long pry-bar for leverage to push against the ratchet.

It's kinda slow, but with a helper it is much easier to do.

And of course you get to have hot shavings fall on you.
