You may want to check you stock Damper for the rubber deteriorating. Also for the guys running a RED LINE box this is a great ideal i have had the stock dampers crack with the higher rpms. Fluidamper's solid design is the way to go.

Some good pointers OPoole! I will have to check mine out. Have you tried the Fluidamper? What do you think, notice any differences?

This well be my next purchase. Anything better than stock is plus on performance and longevity. I've done a lot to make hp and I want to make it last. Spending on something like this will certainly make sure that I can maintain the level of performance that I need.

What is the benefit of going heavier :confused: My assumption is that the added rotating mass at speed, comes into play during acceleration. I see the following site has these in the 36 lb range.

Edit: Does the added mass allow one to build more Torque during power needs. I know we have to have an expert somewhere on this forum. :)

The damper absorbs vibration and combustion shock with each power stroke (Did I just say power stroke?) :{

The bigger the damper, the smoother your engine will rotate, the more vibration absorbtion your engine will enjoy. And it will last longer.

A must for the 4000-6000 rpm crowd.
