I was wondering if anyone 3rd genners have tried one of these out yet?. . If so. . How do u like it?. . Does the engine run smoother?. . I am thinking about getting one but in my mind $400 is alot to shell out for something without having any feedback...

i have one in now, i didnt really notice any difference. the reason i was buying one is that i was taking the stock ones. the rubber would seperate- has this happened to anyone else?

I've installed many Fluidampr's on big block chevys and they are a quality piece. Unless you're having trouble with your stock Cummins balancer, I have no clue as to why you'd shell out that kinda money. You aren't going to notice anything. There are those that say it's better for the crank and bearings, but with stock engines going 500,000+ miles, I don't see a problem.

well the stock ones are two piece, when they seperate it means tow time period. so it happened twice. 250 bucks each time. . im pushing 500 plus horse on a 04ho

I broke one on my boat (gasser) when I accidentally over revved it in neutral (the gear shift cable came loose). It made a loud bang and split into 3-4 parts.

I would imagine you need to hit at least 4000 RPM in the Cummins to break one... ?

I just put one on this weekend on my 2002. I bought it from Summit. First it is worth every penny. The engine idles much smoother. And it is much quiter through the entire RPM range. Im sold! It will make your engine last longer by keeping the crankshaft happy!

I just ordered mine! I can't wait!

I'm getting my DD clutch next week, and am going to install my Fluidampr about two weeks later. I am anxious to see the difference. According to Peter at SBC it will really be a benefit.
