Intro, thank you, SNG question

new cummins owner

My Brother in law just bought a 1996 3/4 ton 5 sp. 4-WD. He lives in Northern Idaho.

He asked me about things, and I told him I have the one ton, 1993, so I could not answer his questions.

He wants to change all the fluids, in the trans. transfer case, front end, and rear end. He has the NV 4500 trans. and as matter of fact, he put another NV 4500 in his Chevy truck!

In my 1993, I OVERFILLED my trans. by 1 qt. and put synthetic oil in it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

BTW, he is on dial up, and it is an EXTREMELY slow line. ( I think it is a 28. 8 modem!) So, I will send him all you post.

Thank you kindly,

Trans. Fluid type and volume

Transfer case Fluid and volume

Front end Fluid and volume

Rear end Fluid and volume

Engine, Oil type and volume

Also, I will recomend WIX filters.
