While pulling uphill I get a flutter or tapping sort of noise when I floor it. The noise subsides when I come off the throttle a little.

Do you think this is the lift or injection pump? Is this noise normal?

Might be a loose hose on the line from the turbo to the charge air cooler or coming from the cooler to the intake manifold, seems to be common on new trucks. bg

I tightened all the clamps on all the hoses when I first got the truck, but I could have missed one I guess.

This noise has been there since I got the truck. It was so loud when I floored it going uphill with a load that I thought I'd mention it here. I was hoping it was one of those things that would go away with break-in, but it's not.

Might want to check your exhaust manifold bolts. I have heard of them coming loose or backing all the way out.
