Some Government People think that they are GOD!!


I hooked up the gooseneck trailer and went and got some drill casing, on the way back there is a rest area/ DOT inspection facility. I went to shake the dew off my Lilly and say Hi to the two DOT Officers that live in our town. On my way out to the Dodge one of the Stooges from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, said when your ready you can pull it into our coned off area and we will have you out of here in no time. For what ( I knew exactly what they do its not my first time at the rodeo) well we are going to make sure your Truck is safe and make sure the registration is good.

First of all its not a for hire truck, Second whens the last time you seen Plates like that on a Commercial truck? He said well thank you for your service to our country and sorry that you were wounded. He said well we can inspect ANYTHING on the highway, Oh No You Cant, your a commercial truck inspector not a private vehicle inspection facility am I right? He stuttered and I said nice try Sherlock, He told me I am a Federal Officer and I can arrest you. Maybe so but one of us is going to look real stupid when we go in front of a Judge. The two DOT officers came out and told the Stooges that they are overstepping their authority in this instance. I had, had enough so I pulled out the Registration, CDL and Med cert, see your a commercial driver, AND DRIVING MY PERSONAL CAR!!

What a bunch of Stooges, no wonder our Government is so screwed up they don't even know what their jobs are!!

I'd like to see the look on the average Joe's face when a cop said I just want to look you over. People have no idea what a lot of us go through every day just to earn a days pay. My wife says I have a bad attitude, but I'm about as tired of our Govt (state and federal)and the jackasses that are employed by it as I can be. A little power goes a long way, usually too far. I only wish you had just cause to rap the guy in the mouth while you were there.
