I finally traced down the reason my fog lights turn off-and-on (flicker) while driving. In the main fuse panel under the hood, the female slot which holds the fog light fuse (#41 as I recall) doesn't get a good 'grip' on one of the fuse 'legs' and when I wiggle the fuse, the lights cycle on-and-off and it burns a small round black spot on the 'hot' leg of the fuse at about the mid-point between top-and-bottom. In other words. . the fuse down-leg is not fitting 'snug' into the female connector and it's 'arcing'. I can't see any way to tighten up the female connector in the fuse box. Any ideas?

ill bet the clip broke where it folds it is a real pain to get in there to fix , try this use a small round file to open up the plastic a little on the side where you got the ark cut a 3" piece of 14 gauge stranded wire remove 1/4 " insulation from one end and insert then plug the fuse in if it works be shure to tape up the other end of the wire the reason for leaving it long is so that the small wires can not get lose

Thanks for the idea. I was thinking about it today and got an idea (I know... I know... stand back folks... and don't try this at home!). I'm going to take the fuse and add some thickness to the down-leg with some solder on both sides and see if the extra 'thickness' helps, before I try your idea. After dinner tonight... I'll do it and report back. TIA CKelly1!
