looked in the book, under the power box. . dont see it listed anywhere??? anyone know where its located? i installed some hid's a couple of weeks ago and this morning they didnt come on. . the "fog light" symbol is on in the cluster but no lights??

thanks in advance

I think the fog lights are run through the TIPM module like the head lights are now. They did the head lights this way so the dash can inform you if you have a blow head light. I looked for this as well for adding lights & did not find any fuses for the head light or fog lights. Dealer may have to reset the TIPM with a scan tool. If im wrong sorry sure someone will correct me.

It's a hellish unforgiving little device that cuts power to any lighting circuit that is momentarily shorted and requires a visit to an unknowledgeable dealer whom you'll have to educate before he resets it and restores your lights.

Fog Lamps Quit working

I have been letting my 04. 5 3500 sit because driving my other car is cheaper. However, I took the truck this morning and realized my fog lamps were not working. I was wondering if my truck has a fuse for the fog lamps or something called a TIPM? I put a different set of Sylvania bulbs in the truck about six months ago and have had no problems. Any help woulfd be greatly appreciated.
