I had something kick up and shatter my passenger side fog light lens. Whatever it was was pretty big, and I'm glad it didn't hit the paint!

What is involved in changing this out? How much is a new complete factory fog?

Thanks in advance!

This seems to come up about once a week. That's OK though... if it weren't for the simple questions, I wouldn't be able to answer ANY of them! ;)

Do a search on eBay. You will find much better prices there. My truck didn't come with them and I got a slightly used set with the extension harness for about $60, with shipping.

I have a set I'm throwing on e-bay tomorrow. I'll post a link if you guys want.

Thanks for the pic- It was dark last night when I saw it was broken and I couldn't see how it was bolted up.

Let me check with my buddy at the parts counter to see what his best price is on a new one today- I'll PM if I need a link to yours.

Thanks Again!

Just replaced my drivers side fog last weekend with one from auto-lamps-mirrors.com, around $75 shipped to your door. They are a reproduction light, but perform the same. I would suggest a set of 9005 bulbs (>$20) to replace the 9006's. There is a noticeable difference in useable light.

The 9005s look tempting. Did you have any heat management problems? It looks like the back of the light housing is plastic on these units.

picked up a cheap replacement from auto lamps plus it has a plastic lense guess that why it costs so much less hope it throws the light as good as the factory ones

I have a Bright with the fogzilla set up and have for over two years NO problem and a ton more light.

This setup runs both filaments of the headlights and uses the up graded 9005 bulb, no problems at all however I can get flashed if I forget the fogs are on on a two lane road.

I knocked one out too. I could have ordered just one for $98 or the whole set with harness for $130. I ordered the whole set so now I have a spare.

Fog Lights

I will have a pair of factory fogs available this weekend. Bumper change to Denver Off Road. Using different fogs. Probably sell the stock bumper too.

E-Mail if you don't find sooner.

maybe I am the odd ball of the group here... i havent had to replace the actual housing/light set up yet but man do I go thru bulbs... . I feel like it is a GM truck ;) ... . went 9005 and yes way better light but if I got 6 months out them i was lucky... . i am back to stock bulb (yucky yellowish light) and so far i havent had 1 go yet in awhile... . prolly just jinxed myself tho!!!
