2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Fog light????????????

What is a good fog light for some night driving, Looking for some extra light. Thanks!

If you want to bring the bling, Piaa and IPF lights are top of the line. Everyone on here seems to like Lightforce 140's. They are not for highway driving. I have a pair of el-cheapo walmart lights mounted under my front bumper. Fog lights get exposed to too much abuse for me to sink more than $50 in them.

Hella Micro DE series lights fit the stock openings from what I've heard. Did you want a fog light or a driving light? Where were you planning on mounting the lights? I'm going to be getting rid of my Smittybuilt "Bumper Thumper" brushguard (has space to mount two lights) and my factory fog lights - I bought an ARB Sahara bumper so not much use for either. Really want a driving light. I don't want any extra brackets.

PIAA 60 XT's fit the openings in the bumper but do require some creativity in mounting and aiming. They were my first attempt at increased front lighting and made a big difference with the OEM headlights on the truck. I later changed to Sport headlights wired so that all eight filaments burn on high beam. Now the PIAA's make but a small difference.



My Sport lamps put out 430 watts of forward light on high beam versus the 130 watts of the OEM non-Sport high beams.

A set of PIAA Pro90's mounted on top of bumper solved my night vision problems. I use the fogs mostly all the time after dark. They do not offend oncoming traffic. The spot light beams are to powerful to use on the road, but they are great when used momentarily. PIAA's in general are $$$, but you get what you pay for.
