"Fog" Lights, are there any upgrades??

There are no lights in the bumper of my 05' 2500, only the louvered covers. I would like to install something other than the factory lights utilizing the factory wire harness with a modified connector. Has anyone installed aftermarket lights in the front bumper? Fog / Driving ???If so What brands?? Thanks

If you can get a set of stock fogs, there's a way to make em' better. I modded mine by adding HID lites in place of the stock bulbs. Much brighter, whiter than stock.

I bought a set of new FACTORY FOGLIGHTS of ebay for $125... this was a kit for a TRUCK WITHOUT FACTORY FOGLIGHTS (I say this because they also offer a kit for trucks with factory foglights??)... the kit came with the inserts to replace the louvers, the hella lights with brackets, wiring, relay, and switch... very easy install...



Search ebay, the seller was a dodge dealer that sold them... if you can't find them, PM me and I'll dig up their info...



You only have to drill one hole (for the switch) and solder one wire (low beam on the driver's side)... they work like a champ. The ONLY thing different about these and the OEM installed lights is that you can't run the foglights with the parking lights, you got to have the low beams on... but that isn't really that big a deal to me...

Someone on the forum had a link to a company that sold replacment fog lights and headlights. The headlights were like $100 each and the fog lights were $40 - $50 each. I don't have the link, but maybe someone here could post it if they know. I need a passenger side fog light.

Well since you said better fog ligts and the factoty ones arnt even fog lights, more a driving light.



So what do you want?



If Fog is what your after go with the PIAA 510's



If you want bright lights go with the Roundeye's HID's

What exactly did you get? I want to replace mine too! Are you still happy with the newer ones?
