Factory Fog light wiring
I was at the dealer getting the first oil change on my truck, along with getting my rear wheel fender liners

.
While I was waiting I went to check out the factory installed fog lights, just to see how the switch "should" look and how they were hooked up. I didn't know the fog light switch is part of the headlight switch, pull on the switch in the on position to turn on the fog lights, instead of a separate switch on the dash.
When I was installing the Mopar after market fog lights, I noticed a couple connectors near the fog lights and thought, I wonder what I don't have that I should have??? So while I waiting at the dealer, I crawled under a truck with factory fog lights, and they were plugged into the connectors that I was wondering what were for on my truck.
So, what are the chances that I can get a head light switch with internal fog light switch and replace the switch on my dash, remove the after market fog light wiring harness and use the factory harness? If it is this simple wouldn't DC sell a new headlamp switch, relay and fog lights instead of an entire wiring harness?
Now that I have seen factory install, the switch on the dash looks after market.
Thanks, Shannon
