Fog lights with hi-beams?

Forgot to ask this question in my earlier post. With the addition of a short jumper wire I was able to run my fog lights with my hi-beams on my '99.



Just took delivery of my 2004. 5 yesterday. Can this be done on it also? If so, how?

I seem to recall reading this won't work on the 3rd Gen because of the electronics, but do a search to confirm.
