Is there any body else out there that may have had problems with there fog lamps. I have a 99 2500 sport. Pull the fog lights on and they dont come on, but the green indicator comes on. Another friend of mine has a 99 3500 and he too has the same problem. I replaced my fuse and still nothing. Just wanted to ask you all before i go and buy new bulbs.

Get a test light & check for power at the lights first before buying new bulbs. I had this problem with my 99 & turned out to be a bad relay. Did your truck come from factory with the fog lights or were they installed later? If they aren't from factory... . the relay should be mounted next to the fuse box under the hood.

I bought this truck from a guy just a couple of weeks ago. They look like they are factory installed. Where is this relay you are talking about.

Some of the factory installed units have the relay mounted in the fuse box under the hood. I bought my kit from chrysler & did it myself. The directions say to mount the relay on the inner fender next to the fuse box..... if you are looking down at the fuse box... . it should be to the right or on the firewall. Switch the relay & see if this helps.

Mine did the same thing. I ended up replacing the harness connector on the bottom of and behind but attached to the core support. The factory connector melted for some strange reason. I always have strange crap happening to my truck... ... ... .....

Moved to 24v no engine & transmission forum, where it will probably get better exposure.
