What difficulty is there is installing the OEM fog lights? My truck was not equipped with them when I bought it and I can find the lights pretty reasonable. Besides a relay and a new headlight switch my main concern is the wiring for the lights, is it there or do I need to run it myself?

I bought factory fog light's for mine and just bought a toggle switch from Auto Zone and wired it to that. Work great, just don't forget to turn off the toggle switch when you park. You feel pretty stupid when you come out to your truck and just the fog light's are on.

Depending on the trim level of your truck you may already have the wiring in place from the factory. I added them to mine and the harness was behind the headlight switch for the new supplied switch with the fog control. If you look under the truck, under the radiator you will see a harness with a female connector there ready to accept the new lights. I bought the kit from Dodge and it comes with all the things needed to install in a truck that does not have the factory wiring such as relay, fuse, harness. I used the parts I needed and the rest went to other projects. It also comes with a new headlight switch. The hardest part was taking the bumper off to change out the gray plastic bezels for the new

lights.

SHobbs, when you remove the headlight switch you will find that the harness has a short pigtail on it, it may be stuffed inside a bit, that will plug into the extra spot on the new switch. If you buy the dodge kit you can use the harness and relay and other parts for other projects. When I priced it the kit was less than the seperate lights, bezels, and switch by quite a bit so even though you don't use it all it is a better way to go. Good luck.
