Back again: Has anyone had problems with lower bumper lights going out one at a time but coming back on later. now both don`t work. I have a Viper remote start. Or do I need to remove the power wire again next to the battery. that is how i got my interor lights to stay on more than 3 sec. {Thanks to you guys out there.}

Are they factory fog lights or have they been added to the truck???

It may just be bulbs, easy stuff first...

RC, I think I have the same issue. My factory fogs went out at the same time; came back on a day or two later; and then went out for good. I have no power at the plugs. As I scratched around for the answer, I discovered that there is no relay on the 2006's, only that 'cheap' TIPM that can possibly be re-flashed. The local dealer wants $95 to 'look' at my issues. For $100 I can mount a set of Hella 550's on my Ranch Hand about a foot higher than the factory fogs and be better off.

If I elect to let the dealer tinker with things, I'm wondering if it is just a temporary fix? I'm also wondering if I can bypass the TIPM (pin #10 with the white wire with yellow tracer) with my own relay? I'm certainly not an electrician and would prefer to not have the lights rather than fry something.
