Folding Steps

Howdy Guys! I need your expertise when I returned home this week with my Fifth wheel RV one of the hinges are bolts that works on the steps was broke

it looks like a pin instead of a bolt no threads on it can this be replaced?

It is the one that mounts steps to the frame.

I had one of those break and I just got the right size bolt and put it in. I don't remember for sure but I think I riveted the bolt after the nut was on as it has to be loose enough for the steps to fold. Double nutting would work but looks gross or a "nyloc" nut may work.
