Best sway bar for 3rd Gen?

front axle

I have a buddy with a 3500 Ram that I have an isses with. He told me that with the front bumper, off road type, winch, and what not, his front springs are maxed out. Then he puts on a 25,000 lb gooseneck trailer. Now I'm no virgin in this area and I say his front axle is very much overloaded. He said naw, the load is over the rear axle. I say bad juju. When I weighed my truck with and without my fiver, I had more load on the front with the fiver.

Any thoughts?

I put a warn 8000 lb winch on my 3500. I never hit the rubber stops in the front until i installed winch. Now on a hrd bump I hit the rubber stop.

I agree the front end does not have a lot of extra load carying capacity when you got a Cummins up there.

As far as the fiver putting more weight up front ive never checked it at a scale. I wouldnt think it would add to much, but in theory it should add a little because the pin usually sets an inch or 2 in front of the rear axle. Bill

Depends 100% on where the pin is in relation to rear axle. We messed up on mine and it is ~1/2 behind rear axle and when hooked up to trailer it unloads front end 140 pounds.
