New Joke Thread!!!

Unfortunatly, in my opinion, this will deter and detract from the (supposed) quality of both products. It is just like the cross corporate BS similar to Harley Davidson/ Ford editions. BTW- Just how many of those editions of the truck are owned by the non- motorcycling public? Furthermore- how many of these will be purchased by non- weapon owning citizens? I own Ruger weapons, and to me this will bring down the perception of a fine piece of craftmanship to the level of 'just another marketing scheme. '

I guess I can maybe see your point about a marketing scheme. I guess I don't feel you'd see me non-gun owners buying as you see people buying up the Harley Trucks. I do see it as an oppurtunity for someone to proudly display their backing of the second amendment. That's why I display my NRA sticker. It will be interesting to see if they make many of these.

As far as Harley trucks, I know a guy who owns one. He doesn't own Harleys or even care about motorcycles. He bought it because it was cheaper than the other trucks the dealer had on the lot. He uses it to haul cattle and horses with.

Interesting! I figured that any 'Harley" accessory would be overpriced! including the 'Hardly- Davidford' truck. The fact that is was less $ makes him a smart consumer. My question-- why is it cheaper? A marketing gimmick that backfired and now they have an overstock that is needed to be thinned thereby reiforcing a true market economy?

I did not see a MSRP on "Duger Rum. " Any mark up?

If you were to order a new one, they are quite a bit more. There aren't many of those trucks around here, so maybe they couldn't get rid of it, I'm not real sure. It'd take a while for me to get used to that bright orange paint!

Whatcha think? [gunmetal blue]

That would be good for some of us Ruger owners (e. g. blued Blackhawks), but an awful lot of their models are stainless steel.

There's a needed truck color: satin stainless. We'd need a polarizing filter in the windshield or a good pair of sunglasses, though.
