Personally, I dont think anyone should be allowed to sing anyone else's songs... ... as most of them screw up the song soooo bad.

Sorry, to me this includes Martina too... ... although she is one of the best singers IMO of country music.

Yeah, lets see her sing one from the Master, the King himself ... lets see if she could sing "There's a tear in my beer" or "Setting the woods on fire".

I don't care what you guys say, she's juicy like a soft ripe georgia peach... . uuummm I'd like to take a bite of her! :D

Oh, and she can really sing too, no matter what she sings, she does it well.

Turbo is right -

no better voice nor person in the industry - BTW - do you know what her family car is --NO Not a Cummins - but with all their $$$$ - she still has a daily driver which is a 1992 that's right a 1992 Honda Accord - not some smancy pantsy ---- look what I'm driving sort of thing - just simple transportation... ...

She isn't my favorite female singer, but for being only 5'2", she can belt it out. :D She does have some songs I do like. I really like the song she did with Jimmy Buffett, "Trip Around the Sun". :D

If anybody on this site has actually had a chance to see Martina live in concert you would know for sure that she is the real deal. I had the chance to see her a year ago with Alan Jackson at the Pepsi center and I thought Martina did a way better job than Alan. Man does that girl have some lungs on her.

Amen Brother - she is the realk deal.......

We usually make at least 4 concerts of hers a year - but with her new Baby - I'll only make 2... ..... But she is as sincere as they get... ... . and no other voice IMO can compare... ... . have you heard hold a note for eternity????? It sends chills up your spine... ...

Sorry, I don't like "MM"... but then, I don't like most of the female country artists, today. I do like Gretchen... . what you see is what you get. Country truely is male dominated.....

My favorite Martina McBride song was "When God Fearing Women Get The Blues" from a couple years back. Never got much radio airplay because it was "too country" for the then overly pop influenced "country" radio. It is a great, upbeat traditional country song with ripping fiddle and dobro. Gotta love Alison and Gretchen too! Fellow Georgian Trisha Yearwood's new album is her best, most traditional in a long time too. String instruments are what makes country music COUNTRY! Give me some fiddle and steel along with guitars and pianos that don't have to be plugged in to play! Exactly why I am also such a fan of bluegrass music.

Martina and Allison Kraus are the only 2 Female country artists that actually have talent in my eyes!

Trisha Yearwood? Gretchen Wilson? Sara Evans? Faith Hill? C'mon man! They all have talent. I think Martina has a great voice when she SINGS, but WAY too many of her songs have her darn near screaming at the top of her lungs...

Alison Krauss is THE best ever... her voice is pure honey!
