I've recently acquired my grandpas 1950 H Farmall that he bought new. It was running fine before winter but apparently the anti-freeze wasn't up to par. The tractor had been in storage at my Dads and he passed away last Nov. and I just got around to picking the old girl up Saturday. When I went to start it I found out that it had anti-freeze on top of the pistons. I know the Hs had issues with cracking heads especially if they froze so I'm planning on getting another head for it before I even pull the stock head off. Does anyone know if there is a better head for the 152 engine than the factory head. I know the M guys all switch to the LP head but I wasn't sure if there was anything better out there for a H. I'm going to paint it and hit some antique pulls and shows. Thankfully there was no water in the oil yet.
