I have a 03 dodge, which downloader would you recommend to give me the most power stacked with my tst,and mp8,the smarty or the triple dog,i have rail pressure, adjustable timing on my tst.

03 4x4 auto,tst,mp8,dtt transmission,air dog,4 in mbrp exhaust,and a few more wants :D

I've had both the BDTD and the Smarty.

The Smarty makes the Bully Dog look like a joke and a complete waste of money.

The Bully Dog is only really good on 04. 5 and up trucks that can run the Crazy Larry program.

I also have an 03 and it was stock until J. Cleary let me load a few Smarty programs. Well it only took about 1 minute before I fell in love with it and didnt want to give it back.

I think the Smarty is hands down the best downloader and you cant beat a Smarty, mp8, tst stack on a 03-04.

My truck is pretty much stock except Smarty, MP8, Silverbullet, stock clutch and fuel system. The clutch was slipping with the Smarty alone and since ive added the silverbullet and mp8 it slips really bad but theres still a way to baby the clutch.

Well I just got back from a dyno and was still able to get respectable numbers for having to wait until 2,000rpm until I go WOT and only 40% on MP8, and Smarty #9. My best was 433hp and 831 tq.

The truck feels really strong with the mp8 75%+ but the clutch wont hold it under dyno load but it flyes on the road. I dynoed 418 hp and 820 tq a few months ago with a EZ instead of mp8, but ill tell you the mp8 feels twice as strong as the ez.

Im hoping for 500 once I get a stronger clutch and a walbro. .

and 570hp with a TST...

I tried the BDDL on extreme (not CL) and didn't like the way it ran with my TST. Smoke, smoke, smoke, and had to back my TST way down to make it work. Best power was with the BDDL on tow, and the TST on 6. Felt stronger than TST alone, but didn't like the way it fueled. I think I'm going the pressure route instead of duration and timing on top of more duration and timing.

I have not tried the BDDL, but have just loaded the Smarty. It ROCK'S. The bottom end is awesome. I don't think you will be dissappointed.

well i have a tst,mp8 what would be the best setting on the smarty to run it with my tst,mp8,turn the timing off on the smarty or run timing on the smarty and turn the timing off on the tst,and also on the tst and the mp8 stacked is it best to plug the mp8 into the sensors first and then the tst?

i have crazy larry on my 03 and my brother has crazy larry on his 06 and his runs a whole lot stronger then mine does with the crazy larry, wonder what the biggest difference is?

The biggest difference is there is no crazy larry for 03 trucks. You can load it into your bullydog at the website but when you load it onto your truck all you get is the regular extreme program.

Like said before theres no such thing as crazy larry for 03-04, and the extreeme setting isnt all that greeat on 03-04.

No CL because 03-04 have old school computers and not as good parts like injectors and turbos as the 04. 5+ have better computers, better turbo, and better injectors.

This is only if your using 1 programmer/ downloader. A Smarty/TST/Mp8 stack is the way to go for 03-04 and will make alot of HP if you have supporting mods like air and fuel.
