SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
Time to reluctantly let my dually go. The truck has spent the last 5 years going back and forth to work with an occasional U-Haul trailer rental to move furniture, etc. after selling my fifth-wheel back in 2014, I just couldn't stand to part with the truck "just in case", but my towing days are now over.... Truck has approx 98,600 relatively easy miles on her and pulled the 5th wheel approx 2000-2500 miles. The truck is a pleasure to drive and especially so when pulling, that's when she really shows her abilities. This thing is a beast when she's working but I digress....
I had the transmission built up by Goerend (billet torque converter, billet input shaft, billet flexplate, etc., etc.,) for "ease of mind" in order to pull my 42' fifth wheel and wow, the difference under tow was night and day....Truck is a Laramie so she has leather interior, DVD player that I've never even turned on, fully loaded and with trailer tow prep, 4.10 limited slip diff. Condition is excellent but there are a few door dings and a couple of hail dings that have to be identified for most people to notice.
Truck has a Banks exhaust brake on it, Autometer EGT, Boost, Transmission Temp, and a DOT 50 gal Auxiliary combo tank which is currently full of fuel and auto fills factory main tank once it's below half-full. Truck will be sold with the Madd's "Smarty" tuner and it's only ever had a very mild "tow" tune on it. Only Fleetguard filters (NO K&N air filter ever) and a FASS dual cartridge pump/filters mounted on the frame rails for easy access. Maintenance has been religiously performed every 5000 miles since I purchased the truck in 2010. Previous owner's maintenance history was on file with his local Dodge dealer's but I have no idea if info is still available. All fluids have been changed on a schedule along with hoses, belt, etc. The Michelin Tires have approx 20,000 miles on them.
This is one nice truck and it's been properly prepped and equipped for towing and without the hassles of the later trucks (No EGR, No ECU reflashes, No Limp Mode, No Electronic Keys, No DEF, etc., etc., etc.) and has plenty of power to pull about anything you'd like to pull ! The truck also has an inverter mounted on the rear floor tunnel which was used for powering a small compressor I take when on the road. The few filters I have go with the truck. I live 10 minutes from DFW Airport and happy to pick one up for a "fly and drive". The posted pictures are current, taken a few days ago. Mileage won't change appreciably since I've purchased it's replacement (a car).
