The infamous “bad ground” problem has been corrected. Its the one on the left fender under the battery box
What it needs:
· Someone to restore her to her former glory, preferably a RAM guy.
· Total dashboard and bezel replacement. I HAVE ALL THE PARTS THAT WILL GO WITH THE TRUCK, INCLUDING HEATER CORE, A/C EVAPORATOR. Correct dashboard, bezel, blower motor resistor, folding cup holders and miscellaneous screws and fasteners.
· All doors on both sides have rust, bubbling and paint peeling at the bottom. Rocker panels seem to be OK.
· A radiator: it leaks and is currently holding with some additive in the antifreeze but it needs to be replaced.
· Numerous dings and small dents. Clear coat on the hood is gone from being outside until 2015. Truck needs a total paint job.
If its not listed above it is original.
History: This truck worked every day from February 2001 when I bought it until we moved to NC in March 2009. After that it is only used on weekends to go to Lowes or the Landfill. It has been garaged since 2015. It has never pulled anything other than an occasional 5’ X 8’ utility trailer. Due to health issues, I’m no longer able to work on it to the way I used to. That’s why I have all the dashboard parts and haven’t done the job yet. Plus, from what I hear it’s a real ***** to do.
In addition to the dashboard replacement parts I also have 3 of 4 original wheels with center rings and OEM lug nuts. One factory wheel was damaged by a pot hole and I had aftermarket wheels installed.
Carfax book value $ 9600.00 Asking $ 10,000. VERY NEGOTIABLE. Cash or bank check drawn in front of me at a local bank.
