For the Hensley Hitch Owners

I have a question about adjustments on the Hensley hitch.



Sometimes when I stop fast, while towing, my truck pulls a little to the left. I've noticed when it does that, the front of the trailer appears to jerk toward the opposite side. The brakes never pull when I'm not towing.



Do you think I'm not adjust the stablizer bars correctly? I've adjusted them equally, according to the mark on the struts, and I have adjusted the trailer brakes, thinking that that was the problem. Do you think I should increase braking power to the trailer?

Mine dose that when I have to much power to the brakes, try decreasing it.
