I was out and about doing my rounds this morning/lastnight and I noticed my trans temp was getting up there around 200... . Its kinda got me worried and more interested in a mag hy-tech deep trans pan to keep more fluid and keep it a little bit cooler. Im not running a Boss yet but Ive got a meyer 7-6 heavy duty and about 350 lbs of salt plus the salter, so that cant be good lugging all that weight around also.

but what kinda temps are you getting outa your auto?

does the Mag HY-Tech deep trans pan really help?

Thanks

I have a pml pan and drilled and tapped my own hole for the temp sender. My temps are between 150 and 180. The temp may spike at times, if I work it too hard but returns to norm very quickly. Pan added 2 quarts of fluid and has fins on the bottom.

I have a 7-1/2 western plow plow. 680 lbs out front with about 500 lbs in the back with salt. Trans temps get up to 200-210 range. But for the most part stay around 180. If it gets to 200 or so it comes down pretty quick.
