? for you all (South Bend Clutch install)

So I just picked up the south bend 550 hp clutch. putting in saturday. any body got any sugestions that would be helpful.

nope its a pretty strait forward install. everything is provided for you. just take your time lining the input shaft do not force it in. other than that have fun and let us know what you think of the new clutch. another little tip take the transfer case off it makes it much easier to handle and alot lighter.

is it a nv5600 or g56 trans?

if its the g56 you have to take the shift tower off and the flywheel unbolts like a torque converter. but the new flywheel bolts up like it should, directly to the crankshaft. you will no longer use the flex plate that is there. also if it is the g56 the new hydro kit makes a world of diffrence.

ditto on the hydro kit. and get a friend if you are going to try leaving the t-case on. other than that really straight forward. SBC has a well thought of kit. good luck... kyle

got the clutch in working on breaking it in. I really like it so far little grabie to get use to.
