Commercials are better than TV shows

Mike, That is assume and took some thinking to make.

I still have my middle son's Lego blocks from the middle 80's along with his GI Joe figures and toys. Now his son my only grandson who is 8 will come over and play with them. Him and I still build space stations, rocket ships and buildings together. My youngest granddaughter who is 4 tells her mom that she want's to come over and play trucks and cars with me. These too are from the 80's we kept all of the kids toys that were in good shape. My daughter took all of hers when her daughter was born, but the boys left them here so the grand kids could play with them now.

What I like about Legos is the kids have to use their imagination and mind when building with them. Not like Videoed games where they just push buttons.

The only problem I have now is getting this old body to bend and get up from the floor after playing with the grand kids.

That is really cool! They have a Lego land at the Mall of America full of neat things built entirely from them. I told my wife I was only going to keep the Legos and the Hot Wheels when our kids were grown because they are timeless and require no batteries. My boys and I played with them for years and like Jim said, they really get your imagination going. No grand kids yet but looking forward to playing with them, too.
P.S. to Jim. I joined this forum on your suggestion over on FRF. I used to drive a lot of heavy diesel trucks but this is the first one I've owned. So I've got a lot to learn!

KenHWY61: Not to hijack the thread, But welcome to the Forum and there are a lot of great guys and gals on this site.

My parents tell me I played for Legos with hours as a little kid - I was never a problem on a rainy day. My own sons loved Legos when they were small. We have bins and bins of them. Made birthdays and Christmas presents effortless when they were small.

I can't even begin to count how many I have stepped on with a bare or stocking foot.:)
