So.... Me and TqT were Drivin down the road......

BEAUTIFUL W350 Whos is it?

First off, I don't want to start any kind of BRAND BASHING. I have driven several different 6. 0L and was impressed with there power and the new 5-speed auto. That said, I have been seeing alot of new fords that sound awful. They have a very distinct sound, like they are only hitting on 5-6 cylinders. This is not the clean sound I have herd before, when I test drove some. This is very obvious (hey my wife said that thing sounds horrible, like it's missing) I use to like the sound with it's nice turbo whirl. But most of the trucks I see and hear now really sound bad, and when they leave a stop light , they have no power. Anyone else notice this? I am wondering if this is fords answer to their problems, and the latest re-flash?

My neighbor just bought a Ford 2003 F350 6. 0. He's the kind of guy that if ford only sold Yugos with the Ford label on them he would still drive a Ford. ... ... . Anyway I don't know what all is wrong with them , but he told me that Ford has come up with the fixes for all the "past" problems they were having and the reason he had to wait another week to get it was because the dealer was doing all the updates to his truck.

Like I said earlier, they sound like they are missing, I saw one today and it could barley move from the stop light. Talked to the owner (yes I followed him, and talked when he parked), and He thinks it is running fine, no problems. While, I almost fell over. I kept thinking if he would drive a dodge, he would flip-out. Setting at an idle, it miss's and stumbles. When he pulls out, it miss's very bad, and starts popping.

He'd better get his injectors checked. They've had quite a problem with them dumping fuel in the crankcase and taking out the turbo... Doug
