2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Ford axles and carrier in Dodge Dana 80

Anybody know if this can be done. I am pretty sure the carrier for the ford can be used and I want to use it since the fords have a 1 5/8" diameter axle versus the dodge 1. 5" axle. I just want to know if the ford axles will bolt up to the dodge hubs and if they are the right lenth. I am trying to avoid paying $1300 for a set of high dollar axles. All help is appreciated.
