I picked up a fuel filter for a 6. 0 from the local dealer,list price $80

Not my truck or money so no big deal for me.

Whats so special about them? Can you run them 100,000 miles or something?

maybe thats their plan, sorta like cheep inkjet printers, you can get a printer onsale at wally world for $20 but when it runs dry a new cartridge goes for $25-30

If I remember right the air filter is around $100 and it is a pain in the butt to change and then some.

They are just paper cartridges,one tiny one and one about the same as our late model.

If you buy them at the International dealer they can be had for about half that, and through a Wix or Baldwin jobber they're about 1/4 of that.
