A friend of mine owns a Ford Lightning (their muscle-truck) which is considered to be a blistering fast truck. I was telling him about my truck and he was looking at me like "oh ya". Well I took him for a ride this weekend and then let him drive my truck. He was pretty quiet during the drive and was very reluctant to get on it all the way! I kept pushing him to get on it - couldn't figure out the reluctance. I finally got him to get on it on an on-ramp and the truck got a little sideways at 40 #ad
!! He was even quieter after that. He called me today asking about buying a Dodge and what he'd have to do to get it to my power levels! #ad
He also said the reason he wasn't getting on it was because he was intimidated! #ad
He admitted that he was absolutely floored by the performance and said he felt humbled driving his lightning back home! hehe - gotta love it!

yeah had a bit of fun with one of those on the I-5, I think he was a bit displeased that a truck that weighs probably more than double that has no ground effects and is a diesel kept up with him to 110, he chickened out not me. They are neet toys, they are not trucks.

At least he admitted it. Alot of guys would have tried to claim it wasn't any faster and then made up some lame excuse why you couldn't try theirs out.

I've been playing with a Lightning for a while now. He get on the freeway everyday abouit thew same time as I do. Before putting the 370 injectors and the 16 CM2 housing on I could stay right with him or just in front of him depending on how got on the on ramp first. The monday after doing these mods there he was again in front and I blow by him. He usually get off 2 exit before me but this day he followed me off and as I was fueling up he walked up and asked what I had done to take him like that. I popped the hood and then he was really disappointed not knowing the Cummins only had 6 cylinders. I have seen him twice since then and he doesn't play any more #ad
