Good Gosh... FORD 6. 0 liter owners are insane over there. All they talk about is all the problems, then they start bashing each other for this and that... wow is all I have to say. Its much nicer over here.....
It's great over there! There are so many people with messed up trucks that they don't even believe it themselves! :-laf Now, most of those guys won't believe you unless you post your VIN number! LOL!! I don't understand that? It's not like the 6. 0 is known to be a quality engine, why is it so hard to believe that large numbers of owners are having problems??
The Cheby sight used to have everyone with problems post their VINs, too. Then some mechanic would check the VIN against the service history and report back whether or not the post writer was telling the truth or not. What a bunch of crap.
Now TDS will start that. I saw an article where Ford has spent over $500 million in warranty claims on the 6 liter. And it ain't over yet. To me, brand loyalty only goes so far.
i go here (tdr) and tds about every day. they are about the only truck forums i go to, and find tds's 94-97 powerstroke section great. ive never been at the 6ohs, but can only imagine lol.
I might be posting some angry comments also if I'd made a $50k+ purchase mistake like those guys have and it is not likely to get any better. I haven't wasted the time to look but I bet the value of their trucks on the NADA/Kelly Blue Book and other appraisal websitea tells a pretty grim story about the value and desirability of their 6. 0 trucks on the used truck market.
Yea, i kind of lost my butt on my ford... . had a 2004 F-250 6. 0 liter puker, 8 inch lift with 36" PJ's on it, awesome looking truck but the motor... oh man... . it was worth losing for the Dodge i just bought... pics of the truck are in my webshots.....
i get a kick going over to TDS..... all the bickering that goes on over there would be enough to make me not want to be on that forum (even if i was a powerchoke owner. ) and then they have that wonderful day dream about the mighty cummins being put in there trucks. . but wait, dont they swear that furd owns cummins :-laf that must be another day dream of there's Oo.
