I've got a line on some stock 99-03aluminum ford wheels... . Just curious if they will work on my 97 2500 without messing with grinding the rear drums, or front joints... I know the bolt patterns are the same. Anyone have experience with these?

Interesting..... I've been miss-lead then... . I guess thats why I'm asking others... . to get allthe facts... . anyone try to use adapters?

Furds use metric sizes, Ram uses SAE and never the two shall meet.

Installing Furd wheels on a proud Ram would be a huge insult to your Ram.

Never figured out why Ford made the move they did, '97 and older all HD wheels between GM, Dodge and Ford were the 8x6. 5 bolt pattern.

I say 97 and older on Ford because '98 F250s were a goofball model using the F150 body and 7-lug wheels!

Thanks for the replys guys... . Overall I'm just looking for some newer rims and wheels than the stock ones. (the chrome is starting to peel off the steel and I've got to get tires SOON). Any suggestions on something resonable yet sharp looking? Not looking to showboat too much, just wanna treat my truck to something nice.
