I ran my 2001 ETH tonight at Phoenix International Raceway to help out the Mopar Hotteam Racing. They run quite a few Fast Mopars mainly against a Ford team of mustangs. They and ford decided to add some diesels to the fun. I am not sure of the points earned in the end but the Mopar team did very well against the Lighter Mustangs.
I ran three runs of 15. 3 et to 15. 4 et all of them at 92 mph. Does any one know how to estimate HP from these figures?
It was obvious that repair of my LSD diff and the addition of ladder bars is needed badly. Starting off in second at half throttle I would just spin the tire/s and then in third, fourth and sometimes fifth it would wheel hop.
But did I have fun!!! After a couple of runs they start coming over to your pit area saying "That a Diesel?" "Your truck weighs how much?"
The best part is most of the cars (Avg weight around 3,200 lbs)
that run times better than 14 or 13 et's are loaded on trailers and hauled home. All I had to do was snap my hubcaps back on!
