September 27th Wrench day at Scotts and Formula One Go Cart RacingSeptember 28th Truck Nationals at New England Dragway
SmokinRam, Jetpilot, and obi1kobi will be joining us!
Scott has a little work scheduled for Saturday morning, but he said for everyone to come up and do any wrenching you feel a need to on your own truck. Or just come up and hang out. There has never been a shortage of ***** to shoot during a wrench day.
Around 5:30pm we'll be heading over to an indoor track called Formula One for some go cart racing. We intend to reserve the whole track to ourselved for an hour, which must be done in advance. So... . we absolutely need to know you are in for some go caaaat racing (as they say in MA) Ten folks is about the break even point, and we should have a quite a few more than that. Eleven cars go at a time, six minute races---everyone should get to go all they want. If we get enough folks, we can rent the extended track!!!!
Then..... dinner at the track or some place decent... sorry but we don't know of a restaurant that has a peanut barrel.
Sunday Morning: Head about an hour north to Epping, NH "New England Dragway" for the Big Rig Truck Nationals. Watch just about everything diesel roar down the track. The Show and Shine is really something to see . And the Pennsylvania boys will be there to race, so this is not to be missed.
