Forum jump gone, cant post pic.

What happened to the fornm jump feature? Also when I try to post a pic all I get is

Bob, I've had the same question regarding the forum jump feature for about a week now, with no response - it was there for a while after the software change, then disappeared... Dunno why, and no one in administration seems to wanna reply...

To post an image, click the "IMG" botton on the posting form. It will insert it using the correct syntax.



As to Gary's response, I can't possibly read every posting here. For the record:



1. this is a part time job

2. I don't read every posting, that WOULD be a full time job

3. email will get my attention

4. I have to get to things in order of their priority.

5. I took a couple of days off to go camping with the family and I'm now catching up. Its the first time in 3 weeks I haven't done TDR duty.

Hmmm Oh Mr Admin?

the Tags are in place for the above pic and there is no Spaces , no mispellings , no picture. Could it be a "Firewall' from photopoint preventing linking of photos? If so I Will be Pi$$ed @ 29. 00 a year for their account.

Bob, Bad news

Bob, I think they stopped allowing linking to the website (Possibly to allow the server to run a bit faster making it a "fast and better" photo developing site) If that's the case I am going to cancel my acct with them. You see smileys are just an image tag type of picture and as far as I know this site does not firewall against linking. I have no problem linking pictures from anywhere else. Hmm time to change over to YAHOO Pictures Or Microsofts Picture storage account.

Hmmm... that looks like a problem with the way VB handles images. Maybe its the lack of a GIF or JPG at the end? Try that, if it doesn't make a difference, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Ken, first, thanks for all the work you are doing for the site. I'm shure once all the buggs are out EVERONE will be happy. I tryed , jpg, JPG, . JPG, . GIF , didn't seem to make a difference. BTW will the forum jump be back?

Welp I think it's a Photopoint Thang

No problems posting a "Linked" pic from anywhere else but Photopoint. I think they stopped linking photos.



Cause look I can link this thang no problem. ,

So Ken I don't think it is a VB thing at all!

Just fired off a HE~mail to Photopoint and asked them why they terminated ~or ~ Blocked linking to their photos... ... ... ... ... ... ... . Lets see the responce I get.

Add a link to one of your photos on a bulletin board





Sign in to your PhotoPoint account and click 'view my albums. '

Click the name of the album that contains the photo you want to link.

Click 'link' below the thumbnail (small version) of the photo.

Highlight and copy the URL (web address) in the pop-up window.

Note: If you do not have JavaScript enabled on your browser, or you use WebTV, the URL will appear on a new page.

Paste the URL (web address) on the bulletin board.

At the beginning of the web address, type in the following: < IMG SRC="

At the end of the web address, type the following: ">< BR>

Repeat the above instructions to add links to additional photos.



When you are finished, it should look like this:

Minus the SPACES AFTER THE < TAGS!!!!!!
