found a new sport !

on the way home yesterday I discovered a new sport. Cell phone interference.

I was driving next to a car with the driver talking on the cell phone with the window open. So when I pull up next to the car at a light I get an ugly face.

At the next light I get an uglier face and the window goes up.

At the third light, the cell phone goes to the right hand. btw, the face got really uglier.

Before the next light the car changed lanes but alas so did I. (really, I needed to turn soon).

Needless to say the driver was really put out by this time, BUT, no, not enough to get off the phone. Sooooo as I get in the turning lane the car is on my left side, phone switches back to the drivers left hand and the window goes back down.

I guess I was an inconvenience but certainly not enough to hang up the phone.

Oh yeah, I love playing that one. Now we just need to come up with a scoring system. I love it when they say something really nasty, then they get the 1200 rpm idle and the 3000 rpm shifts.

I love to do anythig to a jerk yacking on a phone and not paying attention to their driving. I want to build a jammer. Sure would love to know what IF freq those phones use. It would be nice to have a little quarter or half watt noise generator to flip on, when you came upon these idiots.

Not too long ago I was driving down the center lane of a three lane city road and had some ditz in a convertible cut me off to get over to the far right lane. True to form she was on a cell phone and just like in the first post she started throwing dirty looks my direction. I guess I'm just not as subtle as zzyhermit 'cause at about the 2nd dirty look I started to ease down on the accelerator. Before the light changed she had one finger in her ear and had to be screaming into the phone cause I was sittin' at about 2800 rpm. Still didn't put that all-important phone down, though.

I used to have a small jammer for the radio shack 5 channel voice activated walkie talkies. I had a borther in law make it for me. I used to play paint ball a lot. Every once in a while I would come up against a team with them. So I would turn on the jammer. It had about a mile range to it.



Any one know the freq's of cell phones. LOL

Around 825-900MHz for cellular, and around 1850-1990 MHz for PCS.

Cool thread, I hate cell phone talkers/drivers.



Got a good dirty look today, some blue haired prune pulled up next to me in a F*rd P(o)SD and was flapping her dentures with the blue haired driver who could ALMOST see over the wheel . I started up the I-6 in my CTD and got a VERY EVIL stare from her as the window went up . At first I was annoyed at the evil stare, after a while I just laughed and started SERIOUSLY considering straight piping
