found truck ~100 mi south of Chicago.. Any TDR Members around there?

I found a truck, and it sounds really sweet. I had placed an ad on the classifieds, and finally got a reply. I am dead serious about getting this truck, as it is exactly what I have been looking for, for quite some time. If there is anyone somewhere around there who could go take a look at it, I would greatly appreciate it. I am not sure if it is a TDR member, but this truck needs to be mine! So-- If someone can, please go take a look at it, if I get directions, and I promise that when I come to get it, I will take ya for a ride! Any responses are greatly appreciated!

100 miles south would be Peoria, Bloomington, Champaign area. give us a town name.



I live about that much further south in IL it would be about a 2 hour trip for me.

I am not exactly sure on the whereabouts, but the person selling the truck is TDR Member Pete Gunther (PGunther). . Do Any of y'all know him?



The truck is a 2001. 5 Ram 3500 4x4, ETH/DEE, Black Sport, with gray heated leather interior. . I had put a classified ad out on the exact truck, but with tan interior, however I am not picky. I have the money for the truck readily available, and if I get the truck, I will be putting up a kick @ss ski boat for sale, which I recently purchased, and have yet to make the 1st payment on.



The way I see it, I can use a truck year-round; however I can load up ladies more readily with a boat, as demonstrated in the couple of weeks which I have taken it out so far. I see a truck as a better investment than a boat, so I am basically prioritizing my finances.



I will let y'all know as soon as I get a response from him, so someone can check it out. If I fly up there to get it, I would like to meet some fellow TDR Members along the way, on the journey back to Texas.



I will keep y'all posted, and I appreciate the replies.

Did a quick search on the 'net for Pete. The closest match I got, was from someone by that name in Galesburg, IL. The other 3, were real close to Chicago. If it is the right one, Galesburg is only about 40 miles from me.



I've hauled lots of cattle out of the salebarn down there.



I may be able to go look at it for you. Get me an address, if you can.



Let me know when you come, if you buy the truck. Might be able to meet up with you.
