I found a nice liquid filled 0-60 psi gauge laying around I want to use for my low pressure fuel gauge. It has a 1/4 male npt on it and I think I found the ADJ. FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE NEEDLE VALVE/SNUBBER KIT ('89-'07, 5.9L) at geno's that I need. I also see a FUEL PRESSURE LINE - VULCAN - UNIVERSAL FIT ('98.5-'02, 5.9L)

Is this all I need? I ask because it looks like the snubber kit has a flair fitting, but my gauge is 1/4" male npt.

Also, how do I bleed air from the filter with no bleed bolt? Remove the FP tube?

Thanks!

Not to take away business from Genos, but you can do it for less locally. Every auto parts store has flexible grease gun hoses and every Ace hardware store has needle valves and adapter fittings. Snubbers almost always give false gauge readings. A needle valve just barely cracked open works perfect.

OOPS, my brain was thinking electric gauge. I don't think a grease gun hose will reach into the cab.

My $ .02. I'll mirror what many other TDR members have commented over the years...never bring fuel or oil into the cab.

I'll use 1/8" Translucent Parker Parflex tubing. BoeingDiesel, from what I'm reading, if you have the needle valve set correctly even if the tube broke in half it would only be a slow drip on your floor mat. Then you close the valve.
