2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Frame and components

Good afternoon,



I know this is a longshot but... I am looking for a complete frame as follows:

1996 Ram 3500, Cummins, Auto, dual rear wheels, RWD, 155 inch Club Cab chassis, 8-foot bed. As an option, I would consider a complete front frame section from the firewall forward.



This has to be a GOOD frame without any crash damage. Would prefer something without a whole lot of rust as I already have one like that. This is getting close to being a "911 Truck" situation. My bodywork is very good but the frame is bad.



I do not need any front suspension or rear differential/suspension. But if the price were right...

A CT TDR member posted a similar problem approximately a year ago and received lots of helpful suggestions. I think he eventually found a frame but don't remember how his problem was resolved or if he ever posted the final result.

I suggest you do a search for his thread. It ended up being very thorough.

Finding a matching frame will be very difficult but finding a complete but non-running, worn out and beat up old but nearly identical truck in TX, OK, NM, AZ, or SoCal should not be if you are diligent and patient. There are many old worn out but rust free old Dodge Rams available fairly cheap in those states.

I might add Utah, Colorado, and Nevada to Harvey's list and specify West Texas and not East Texas.
